The Centre for Health Protection today said it is investigating three additional imported COVID-19 cases involving patients who arrived from Kazakhstan, the Philippines and Egypt.

Specified people linked to Aigburth, 12 Tregunter Path and 7 Lyttelton Road in Mid-Levels are reminded to get tested tomorrow in accordance with a compulsory testing notice.

In view of two preliminary positive imported cases who had stayed in Hong Kong during the incubation period, 13 specified places are included in a compulsory testing notice. Those who have completed a COVID-19 vaccination course are also required to undergo the test.

Furthermore, due to outbreaks of upper respiratory tract infection and/or influenza-like illness at 41 schools, compulsory testing is mandated for people linked to the relevant schools or their specified levels. Those who have completed a COVID-19 vaccination course, however, will be exempted.

The opening dates and operating hours of mobile specimen collection stations in various districts have also been announced.

A total of 48 cases were reported in Hong Kong in the past 14 days, all of which are imported.
