The Centre for Health Protection today said it is investigating five additional COVID-19 cases, all of which are imported.

They involve one man and four women aged between one and 40 who arrived from Indonesia and Spain.

A total of 74 cases have been reported in the past 14 days, including 15 local cases, of which one has an unknown infection source.

Meanwhile, two schools where outbreaks of upper respiratory tract infection or influenza-like illness had taken place have been included in the compulsory testing notice.

Specimens were collected for more than 83,000 people on May 7 at community testing centres and mobile specimen collection stations.

The Government will set up a mobile specimen collection station at Beech Street, Tai Kok Tsui on May 9 for those subject to compulsory testing.

The five mobile specimen collection stations in Central & Western District will open early at 8am or 9am tomorrow and continue to operate on May 10.
