The Leisure & Cultural Services Department today said an outsourced cleaning service contractor worker at Shun Lee Tsuen Sports Centre in Kwun Tong has tested positive for COVID-19.

She has no recent travel history and last performed her duties on December 16. She wore surgical masks and her body temperature was normal during work.

She underwent a COVID-19 nucleic acid test earlier as there was a confirmed case at her residential building. She was notified yesterday that she had tested positive for the virus.

The department will arrange thorough cleaning and sterilisation at the sports centre.

It will maintain close liaison with the Centre for Health Protection.
