The Government today announced four senior appointments.

Permanent Secretary for Education Ingrid Yeung will succeed Thomas Chow as Permanent Secretary for the Civil Service on August 7.

Permanent Secretary for Financial Services & the Treasury (Financial Services) Michelle Li will take up the post of Permanent Secretary for Education on the same day.

Director-General of Trade & Industry Salina Yan will take over the post of Permanent Secretary for Financial Services & the Treasury (Financial Services) on August 10.

Commissioner for Transport Mable Chan will succeed Joseph Lai, who will commence his pre-retirement leave, as Permanent Secretary for Transport & Housing (Transport) on August 1.

Secretary for the Civil Service Patrick Nip said the four appointees are seasoned Administrative Officers with proven leadership and management skills.

“I have every confidence that they will serve the community with professionalism in their new capacities.”
