The 2014 Lunar New Year Fireworks Display over Victoria Harbour will be held at 8pm on February 1, the second day of the Lunar New Year.
The Leisure & Cultural Services Department says 31,888 firing shells will be discharged during the 23-minute show's eight scenes.
Highlights include red lips, pink flowers and red and golden butterflies in the first scene, the Chinese character "Ji" in the fourth scene , a red number eight and "Gold Yuan Bo", symbolising an auspicious year. The final scene includes silver horse hooves and horse tails running across the sky, along with the word "Win" shining on the water's surface.
Those enjoying the show can tune in to RTHK Radio 4 (FM 97.6 to 98.9) to hear synchronised music.
