Liaison teams will be formed to fine tune the co-location plan for the Hong Kong Section of the Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong Express Rail Link.
Secretary for Security John Lee made the statement prior to his Sha Tin visit today, saying Hong Kong and Mainland authorities will hold more meetings to work out the plan's details.
"There will be a lot of working meetings to look at different areas, so that we can have an actual implementation plan. We will be setting up liaison teams to look at contingency, emergency response, and other surprise and unexpected incidents.
"Through this arrangement, we will be working out how we can work together so the whole system will be implemented smoothly."
