More than 1,800 applications were received during Police Recruitment Day today.
Upon completion of the selection process, successful Probationary Inspector and Recruit Police Constable applicants will undergo training at the Police College, whereas successful Police Constable (Auxiliary) applicants will be trained at the Auxiliary Police Headquarters.
For the 2016-17 financial year, the force wants to recruit 190 Probationary Inspectors and 1,350 Recruit Police Constables, while the Auxiliary Police Force aims to recruit 320 Police Constables (Auxiliary).
A seminar will be held on May 21 to recruit members of uniformed groups and youth organisations.
