Customs officers have arrested four people after finding 48kg of cocaine worth $51.6 million in Tsing Yi.
The drugs were found inside a 20-foot container from Panama that was declared to contain cocoa beans at the Customs Tsing Yi Examination Compound on January 27.
Investigations led to the discovery of a cocaine manufacturing centre in San Po Kong yesterday. Three men and one woman, aged between 22 and 60 were arrested.
They will appear at Tsuen Wan Magistracy on February 1 to face charges of dangerous drug trafficking and manufacturing.
