Police have announced they will clear obstacles at the Admiralty protest site and urge all occupiers to leave the area immediately.
Senior Superintendent Patrick Kwok told reporters this afternoon officers will cordon off the area, after which no-one will be allowed to enter.
Mr Kwok warned that those who voluntarily leave after the area has been sealed will be asked to show Police their identification cards and may face prosecution later.
He said action will be taken against anyone who resists or charges at officers.
