Customs officers have arrested a man and two women for powdered formula smuggling in Sheung Shui, and seized 551kg of formula worth $150,000.
A man and a woman were arrested on Sheung Shui San Fung Road yesterday while distributing formula to people to smuggle across the boundary.
A woman smuggler was stopped at Lo Wu Control Point carrying formula in her rucksack.
The Customs & Excise Department said it is boosting anti-formula smuggling enforcement in the area.
