Girl dies in Tai Po traffic accident

Police are investigating a traffic accident in Tai Po in which a five-year-old girl died this afternoon.
 
A bus driven by a 54-year-old man and a private car driven by a 39-year-old man were travelling along Tai Wo Service Road West. The private car reportedly collided with the bus at about 3.40pm near Nam Wa Po.
 
The girl was rushed to Alice Ho Miu Ling Nethersole Hospital where she died at around 4.40pm.
 
The driver, a 35-year-old female passenger and a two-year-old male passenger of the private car were sent to Alice Ho Miu Ling Nethersole Hospital and were later transferred to Prince of Wales Hospital for further treatment.
 
The bus driver sustained head and chest injuries and was sent to North District Hospital.
