An 84-year-old man has died after he was struck by a van in Chai Wan.
At about 2:50 this afternoon, a 37-year-old man was driving the van eastbound on Island Eastern Corridor when it struck the man as he was crossing the road at the junction of Tai Hong Street.
The senior was was sent to Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital where he was certified dead at 6.56pm.
