A 44-year-old woman died in a No.1 alarm fire in Lok Wah South Estate in Ngau Tau Kok today.
The fire broke out around 6.40am in a domestic unit on the 27th floor of Man Wah House.
Firefighters found an unconscious woman at the scene. She was rushed to United Christian Hospital where she was certified dead at 7.23am.
Firefighters used one jet and one breathing apparatus team to fight the blaze. The fire was put out just before 7am. The cause was not found to be suspicious.
