Police have arrested 12 people in a city-wide anti-drink-driving crackdown.
From September 30 to October 4, officers conducted breath tests on 1,681 drivers. Twelve failed the screening breath tests and were arrested. Nine were subsequently found to have proportions of alcohol in their breath exceeding the prescribed limit and will be charged with the relevant offences.
