The Housing Authority's review committee on quality assurance issues relating to the fresh water supply of public housing estates held its first meeting today.
Committee chairman Cheung Tat-tong said the committee will comprehensively review the present arrangements for quality control and monitoring in relation to the installation of fresh water supply systems in public housing estates.
Committee members were given a brief introduction by the Housing Department on the existing mechanism.
The committee will review the mechanism in phases.
Mr Cheung said the committee will complete its study in three to five months.
