Traffic is expected to be very congested tomorrow as more people than usual drive to work in preparation for after-office activities ahead of the weekend, the Transport Department has warned.
It reminded people today that the traffic situation is still unstable in districts like Admiralty, Causeway Bay and Mong Kok, which are still affected by protests.
A free circular tram service between Victoria Park and Paterson Street started yesterday, while there are still no trams between Percival Street and Paterson Street.
A total of 226 bus routes are still affected by the protests, with eight routes suspended and 218 diverted.
Twenty green minibus routes that use Harcourt Road, Nathan Road and Argyle Street are still diverted or suspended.
