Hongkong Post will issue a set of special stamps on the Rio Olympics on August 5.
The background colours of the stamps are inspired by the five-ring Olympic symbol, featuring four of its five colours – yellow, green, blue and red.
Three stamps depict the Olympic events Hong Kong athletes have previously won or participated in, while the remainder are rugby and golf-themed as they are being introduced in the Olympics this year.
Official first day covers will be on sale for $1.20 at all post offices from tomorrow.
The stamps and associated philatelic products will also be displayed at the General, Tsim Sha Tsui, Tsuen Wan, Sha Tin Central, and Tuen Mun Central post offices.
