The Centre for Food Safety today urged people to stop eating three batches of frozen noodles imported from Taiwan, and told retailers to stop using or selling the product.
The centre received a notification from Taiwanese authorities that the noodles were suspected to have been processed with non-food additive grade chlorine dioxide.
The noodles were produced by E Tong Foods Company, and were imported by Premier Taste.
The centre will liaise with Taiwan authorities on the case.
