3 Mainland H7N9 cases reported

The Centre for Health Protection was informed today by the National Health & Family Planning Commission of three new confirmed human cases of Influenza A (H7N9) in Shanghai and Jiangsu.
The cases involve a 64-year-old man who died in Shanghai. Two cases in Jiangsu involve an 85-year-old man and a 25-year-old woman, both of whom are in critical condition.
The Shanghai Municipal Public Health Bureau and the Jiangsu Department of Health said the patients' close contacts have no symptoms.
