Coronavirus case under watch

The Department of Health is monitoring an additional case of Severe Respiratory Disease associated with Novel Coronavirus, reported to the World Health Organisation by Saudi Arabia.
 
The latest case is a contact of the 15th case announced by the WHO on March 12. The patient has been discharged from hospital.
 
This case brings the global total number of confirmed cases to 16 (including nine deaths), of which nine are from Saudi Arabia (including six deaths).
 
The department will continue to monitor the latest developments of the disease.
 
No human infection with this virus has so far been identified in Hong Kong.
