The Department of Health has appealed to the public not to take an oral product containing four undeclared Western drugs.
A 67-year-old man was admitted to Tseung Kwan O Hospital with dizziness and chest discomfort on December 13 after taking the product bought in Kunming, Yunnan Province. He was discharged on December 21.
The product contained multiple Western medicines, including banned drug phenformin.
