8 ill in food poisoning outbreaks

The Centre for Health Protection is investing two suspected food poisoning outbreaks involving eight people who ate at the same restaurant in Sha Tin.
 
Four 13-year-old girls developed food poisoning symptoms after having lunch at the restaurant on July 18. Three of them sought medical advice while one needed hospitalisation and has been discharged.
 
Three women and a man, aged 29 to 54, fell sick after having lunch in the same restaurant on the same day. One of them sought medical treatment but did not require hospitalisation.
