June 15, 2011
Three pupils at a Tuen Mun primary school have been confirmed to have scarlet fever, the Centre for Health Protection announced today.
The two boys and a girl aged 6 to 7 have come down with a fever, rash, sore throat and inflamed tongue since June 3. Two of them were hospitalised and have been discharged. All are stable.
The pupils have not travelled recently. Their home contacts are asymptomatic.
