Bun shops reminded about hygiene

The Food & Environmental Hygiene Department received eight complaints about the making of buns outside shops during the recent Cheung Chau Bun Festival.
 
Acting Secretary for Commerce & Economic Development Gregory So told legislators today hygiene officers inspected the premises upon receipt of the complaints, but no irregularities were detected.
 
As such, no enforcement action was taken. However, in view of the complaints received, the officers reminded the proprietors not to make food outside the licensed area.
