The clearance of Tsz Tin Tsuen has been deferred to September 27 to give its remaining residents more time to move out.
Clearance was due to finish today, to make space for public housing projects, but 30 of the 106 households have refused to move out.
The Government has considered and addressed all cases requiring special rehousing consideration. According to compensation policy, the Government will adhere to the ex-gratia compensation rate of $474 per square foot.
