Secretary for Commerce & Economic Development Gregory So will visit Washington, DC, tomorrow to strengthen trade and economic ties between the US and Hong Kong.
He will meet with senior officials of the Department of Commerce and the US Chamber of Commerce.
He will also attend a reception hosted by the Hong Kong Economic & Trade Office in Washington, DC, for US government officials, congressional staffers, the business community and the Hong Kong community there.
He will pay a courtesy call on the Chinese Embassy in the US.
Mr So will return to Hong Kong on October 15.
