Secretary for Financial Services & the Treasury Prof KC Chan will be in Shanghai on June 12 and 13 for the Lujiazui Forum 2016.
He will attend one of the plenary sessions in which he will share his views on Hong Kong's strengths and opportunities in the opening up of the Mainland's financial markets.
Prof Chan will then sign a co-operation agreement with the Shanghai Municipal Government Financial Services Office, and meet Shanghai Executive Vice Mayor Tu Guangshao.
He will also visit a start-up incubator and an insurance firm to learn more about the latest developments in the application of financial technologies.
