Financial Secretary John Tsang says APEC finance ministers are not worried about the protests in Hong Kong, but they care about the situation and hope it is resolved soon.
Speaking to reporters in Beijing today, where he was attending the Asia-Pacific Economic Co-operation Finance Ministers' Meeting, Mr Tsang said he briefed his counterparts on the latest situation in Hong Kong and told them the financial markets have been operating normally in recent weeks.
Mr Tsang said he has not heard any news about the Shanghai-Hong Kong Stock Connect being delayed, noting that institutions in Hong Kong are all ready for it.
