John Tsang to visit US

Financial Secretary John Tsang will visit New York, Washington DC and Chicago from September 19 to September 28, to strengthen ties between Hong Kong and the US.
In New York, Mr Tsang will have meetings with prominent figures of financial institutions and visits to the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and NYSE Euronext.
In Washington, he will attend the annual meetings of International Monetary Fund and World Bank Group. He will also have meetings with ratings agencies and US officials.
While in Chicago, Mr Tsang will join the Chief Executive of Cathay Pacific John Slosar to celebrate Cathay Pacific's inaugural flight between Hong Kong and Chicago. He will also visit Chicago Mercantile Exchange and meet city officials.
Mr Tsang will return to Hong Kong on the evening of September 28. In his absence, Secretary for Financial Services & the Treasury Prof KC Chan, will act as Financial Secretary.
