The Environmental Protection Department has rated water quality at 18 beaches as 'good', 18 as 'fair' and three as ‘poor’ for this weekend.
Big Wave Bay, Cheung Chau Tung Wan, Clear Water Bay First and Ma Wan Tung Wan Beaches received a better rating than last week, moving up from 'fair' to 'good', and Castle Peak Beach changed from ‘poor’ to ‘fair’.
However, Shek O Beach was downgraded from 'good' to 'fair', while Anglers' and Ting Kau Beaches dropped from ‘fair’ to ‘poor’.
