Chief Executive Carrie Lam visited Macau today, meeting its Chief Executive Fernando Chui.
Mrs Lam was accompanied by Secretary for Constitutional & Mainland Affairs Patrick Nip and Director of the Chief Executive's Office Chan Kwok-ki.
She and Mr Chui discussed the latest situation in their cities, including the economy, education, innovation and technology, as well as cultural and creative industries.
Noting Hong Kong and Macau have frequent contact and close ties in various areas, Mrs Lam said she expects there will be room for further co-operation between the two cities in view of the development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Bay Area and the upcoming completion of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge.
Mrs Lam then visited 10 Fantasia to learn about the development of Macau's cultural and creative industries.
Launched nine years ago, 10 Fantasia is a building complex which showcases and promotes Macau's cultural and creative industries, providing a platform for the development of its arts groups and artists.
