Central People's Government Liaison Office Director Zhang Xiaoming has agreed to meet pan-democratic legislators to discuss constitutional development.
The Chief Executive's Office made the announcement today, saying four sessions will be held from August 15 to 20 at the Central Government Offices.
Chaired by Chief Secretary Carrie Lam, they will be attended by the Democratic Party, individual "lunch-box meeting" Legislative Council members, the Civic Party and the Labour Party.
The other members of the Task Force on Constitutional Development, Secretary for Justice Rimsky Yuen and Secretary for Constitutional & Mainland Affairs Raymond Tam, will also attend, along with other Liaison Office officials.
