Chief Secretary Carrie Lam today met 18 pan-democratic legislators to listen to their views on the Government's constitutional reform report and their request to meet Central Government officials.
Mrs Lam told reporters after the meeting the legislators asked to see Mainland officials responsible for Hong Kong's constitutional development.
The legislators would like to have the meeting before the National People’s Congress Standing Committee’s next gathering late next month.
Mrs Lam said their views and request will be relayed to the Central Government, however, she cannot confirm the meeting can be arranged due to the time constraint.
