The Home Affairs Department has appealed to registered electors to vote in the village representative by-election to be held this Sunday, to fill 15 vacancies.
Nineteen valid nominations were received, and polling will be held from noon to 7pm.
Two candidates are running for the Indigenous Inhabitant Representative post for Chuk Yuen on the Ta Kwu Ling District Rural Committee, and two candidates are running for the Indigenous Inhabitant Representative post for Sai O on the Sai Kung North Rural Committee.
Three candidates will run for the Resident Representative post for Mong Tseng Tsuen on the Ping Shan Rural Committee, and two candidates will run for the Resident Representative post for Pak Kong on the Sai Kung Rural Committee.
Ten candidates were returned uncontested as Indigenous Inhabitant Representatives in their villages.
