Secretary for the Civil Service Denise Yue announced four senior Government appointments today.
Permanent Secretary for Education Raymond Wong has been made Permanent Secretary for the Civil Service. He will be succeeded in his present post by Commissioner for Labour Cherry Tse.
Permanent Secretary for the Civil Service Andrew Wong has been appointed Permanent Secretary for Commerce & Economic Development (Commerce, Industry & Tourism), and former Director of Food & Environmental Hygiene Cheuk Wing-hing has been appointed Commissioner for Labour.
Ms Yue said the appointees are seasoned administrative officers with rich experience in public administration, and proven leadership and management skills. She has every confidence they will continue to serve the community with professionalism and dedication in their new capacities.
