The Land Registry recorded 6,250 sale and purchase agreements for all building units received for registration in October, down 15.5% from September but 1% higher year-on-year.

The total consideration for such agreements dipped 8.1% from September to $61.4 billion in October, but a 7.8% year-on-year increase was recorded.

Of the agreements, 4,643 were for residential units, down 20.6% from September and 6.2% lower than a year ago.

The total consideration of residential units was $ 49.7 billion, a drop of 11.4% compared with September and down 0.7% from October 2020.

There were 470,031 land register searches last month.
