The Government today announced that it disbursed via the four stored value facility (SVF) operators the second consumption voucher to about 810,000 eligible people who received the first voucher on September 1.

They will receive SMS or mobile app push notifications on the voucher disbursement.

Those who obtained the first consumption voucher on October 1 will receive the second one on December 1.

For people who have chosen to collect the voucher via AlipayHK, Tap & Go or WeChat Pay HK, the second voucher valued at $3,000 has been injected into their specified SVF accounts.

The second voucher is valid for three months and will expire together with the first $2,000 voucher on January 31 next year. The unused voucher value will automatically become invalid.

Those who have chosen to collect the voucher via Octopus may collect the voucher by tapping the card at the Public Transport Fare Subsidy Scheme's subsidy collection points at Mass Transit Railway stations, Light Rail customer service centres, designated piers and public transport interchanges.

They can also tap the card at designated convenience stores and supermarkets, Octopus service points or via the Octopus app.

The value of both the first and second vouchers obtained via Octopus is $2,000. When the total eligible spending has reached $4,000 within the fourth to seventh month from the first voucher's disbursement, the third voucher at $1,000 will be available on the 16th day of the following month after the target spending has been achieved.
