Voucher re-registration extended

September 1, 2021

The Government today extended to September 15 the special arrangement allowing people who had registered for the Consumption Voucher Scheme to resubmit their registration once using a paper registration form.

It explained that the special arrangement was extended as some people might not have noticed that their registration submitted earlier had not been further processed due to inaccurate or incomplete information.

They should submit their completed paper registration form together with their Hong Kong identity card copy in person or by a trusted person to the Consumption Voucher Scheme Secretariat at 17/F, Pioneer Centre, 750 Nathan Road, Mong Kok during office hours by September 15.

The Government reminded people who wish to resubmit their registration through the special arrangement to first confirm that the information to be submitted this time is correct and complete.

Those who failed to upload their identity card copy for authentication to complete their electronic registration by August 16 as required may also resubmit their paper registration through the special arrangement.

The arrangement did not apply to people who were confirmed to be ineligible under the scheme or who had never submitted any registration before.

Registrants with their eligibility confirmed will receive disbursement of the first voucher of $2,000 on October 1. They will generally receive an SMS notification informing them of their registration result about one week after submission.
