About 1.24 million people who registered electronically with banks by June 30 received the $10,000 cash payout today, bringing the cumulative total of recipients to over 4.3 million.

The Government said people registering electronically through banks from July 1 will start receiving payment from tomorrow.

People who have yet to register are urged to do so through online banking which is considered the most secure and convenient way to receive payment. Eligible registrants will get the cash payout about one week after registration.
