Lion king roars at the Space Museum

Get up close with the lions of Africa's Kalahari Desert in the Space Museum's new Omnimax show. The 40-minute safari Roar: Lions of the Kalahari will be screened from April 2 to September 29.

 

The Kalahari's lions can grow up to three metres long and weigh 230kg.

 

The film will be screened daily at 3.50pm and 7.20pm, with an additional screening at 12.20pm on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. The museum closes Tuesdays except public holidays.
