Avian flu
*
Tibetan poultry imports suspended
*

Import applications for Tibetan poultry meat have been suspended due to an avian influenza outbreak in the autonomous region.

 

The Health, Welfare & Food Bureau made the move after being warned of the outbreak in Lhasa by the Ministry of Agriculture today.

 

The bureau will monitor the situation.
