The Centre for Health Protection has confirmed a 62-year-old man has contracted Legionnaires' disease, bringing the year's total cases to three. He remains stable in Tuen Mun Hospital, and his family members have no symptoms.
The Tin Shui Wai man has no recent travel history. He came down with a fever, coughing and chills on June 29.
There were three Legionnaires cases last year, three in 2003 and four in 2002.
