Practice makes perfect: Outstanding student tourism ambassadors introduce Hong Kong's scenic spots in Putonghua to tourists.

The Putonghua student tourism ambassador training programme achievement exhibit is now on show at the Avenue of Stars in Tsim Sha Tsui until August 31.

Four outstanding teams will introduce local culture and scenic spots in Putonghua from 6pm to 7.30pm on August 30 and 31.

The Standing Committee on Language Education & Research-organised training programme involved 280 students from 40 secondary schools.

Participants were required to design exhibit panels highlighting Hong Kong's tourist attractions upon their completion of three-month training in speaking skills and tourism subjects.
