The 'Be a Smart Netizen' Video Contest opened for entry today to promote awareness of information security.
Held by the Office of the Government Chief Information Officer, Police, and the Computer Emergency Response Team Co-ordination Centre, the contest is divided into two groups: the Student Group for full-time primary and secondary students and the Open Group for all Hong Kong residents.
Participants can enter individually or in a team.
Entry videos should feature stories on potential security risks in daily life and how countermeasures or best practices can be adopted to defend against these threats.
The deadline for submissions is September 16 and the results will be announced in November. The prize presentation ceremony will be held in December.
