Hongkong Post will issue a set of special stamps and other philatelic products for Christmas on November 4.
The third issue of Christmas stamps, following issues in 2002 and 2007, the collection creatively blends scenes of local life into well-known Christmas settings to share festive sentiments.
The four distinctive stamps depicting Santa Claus, a reindeer, a snowman and an angel blend in local elements like a junk, the golden bauhinia sculpture in Wan Chai, dim sum and the Clock Tower in Tsim Sha Tsui.
Official first day covers will sell for $1.20 each at all post offices from tomorrow and advance orders for servicing self-provided covers will also be accepted until October 27.
