The Leisure & Cultural Services Department launched the revamped Public Libraries website today, featuring a modern layout and more user-friendly interface.
It features the latest information on library activities and a wide range of online library services, including catalogue searches, media-on-demand, and the reserving or renewing of library materials.
The new e-Resources Thematic Page has the electronic resources of all libraries, including over 60 e-databases, 180,000 e-books and 750,000 music tracks.
Through the media-on-demand service readers can search the Multimedia Information System for a wide variety of resources, including 150,000 audio-visual and multimedia items, 250,000 old newspapers, e-books and other digitised images and documents.
