The Centre for Health Protection received notification today of an additional human H7N9 case affecting a 54-year-old woman in Nanjing.
She was admitted to hospital where she tested positive for the virus last night.
To date, a total of 151 H7N9 cases have been confirmed on the Mainland. They are in Zhejiang (52 cases), Shanghai (34), Jiangsu (29), Guangdong (10), Jiangxi (six), Fujian (five), Anhui (four), Henan (four), Beijing (two), Hunan (two), Shandong (two) and Hebei (one).
