The All About H2O lecture series opened at the Science Museum today. Until July 13, experts will give talks to introduce the science and technology in managing water resources.
Officiating at the launch today, Secretary for Development Paul Chan said water is a precious natural resource and public participation is essential to secure a sustainable supply of water resources. He asked people to share the importance of saving water with their families and friends.
The lecture series will be presented by university professors, a medical practitioner and Water Supplies Department professionals, speaking on the science of water, water resources in China and Hong Kong, the challenges of water resources in China, and water quality and health.
An exhibition is being staged at the museum to complement the lecture series.
