Post-service work approved
July 30, 2013
The Advisory Committee on Post-office Employment for Former Chief Executives & Politically Appointed Officials has endorsed the post-service work plan of former Central Policy Unit member Charles Kwan.
He intends to be employed by the Polytechnic University as a Part-time Research Fellow.
He left the Government on April 1.
The committee said that, subject to the observance of certain restrictions it has advised, the post will pose no conflict of interest, or adverse public reaction.
Following the committee's advice, the Government has approved Mr Kwan's post-service work proposal subject to those restrictions.
